COVID Friendly

Covid Friendly Weddings

With all of the restrictions, we don’t want those couples who wish to still go ahead with their wedding to feel like they are not getting anything they want.  So we’ve come up with some Covid-friendly wedding ideas (the new normal…for now!) that cut through the restrictions and keep everyone safe.

1. All the Bells & Whistles Elopement.

Ditch the guests…and suddenly you can have a picture perfect wedding with all the bells & whistles!.

Let’s design a stunning wedding in an amazing Australian location – somewhere away from home – leaving your problems and work behind.  We’ll have a gorgeous view/outlook, flowers, celebrant, makeup artist and hair stylist, an amazing gown/s and/or suit/s,  photographer, a musician and a videographer to capture the day.

We will send your wedding video to all your guests and family the following day.

Following the ceremony, which could be at sunset, you and your new spouse will head to a beautiful restaurant for dinner for two or we will have your favourites served to your gorgeous suite in a beautiful hotel/resort nearby.

The next day – your honeymoon begins…and so does the rest of your life!

2. Evening weddings.

Let’s not pretend we can have the same style or length of time for a wedding – we need to think about the new normal or a covid style wedding until restrictions are completely eased (which could take a while).

Typically, an evening wedding is 5.5hours  (you can pay for longer weddings at some venues, others are bound by strict residential noise regulations – that’s all I deal with – regulations!!).

With no dancing right now – lets create a wedding that suits you and doesn’t leave your guests asking what time the wedding ends!

With a short(er) but sweet(er) wedding – you have all the bells & whistles with styling, your formalities but since weddings [usually] have 2.5 hours of dancing after meals and formalities, you cannot expect guests to sit down for 5+ hours straight with no dancing or other type of entertainment.

Alternatively, keep the usual length of the wedding and we will fill that 2.5 hours with entertainment - amazing lighting and a kick-ass band keeping everyone toe tapping.

3. Lunch weddings.

Lunch weddings tend to be shorter, have less or no dancing and allow you to enjoy the beautiful view.

So many couples marry at night in the most picturesque locations…a view that you can’t see once it gets dark.  Let’s turn the tables on that and have a gorgeous lunch wedding.

4. Destination weddings.

With guest numbers capped at the moment (this is different in different states). Instead of a closed in venue, let's get married on a large private estate or a resort with sprawling landcapes for us to put a BIGGER marquee on – allowing us to fit more guests.  And if the weather is great – no sides on the marquee so you feel like you’re getting married under the stars!

A Destination Wedding is the most memorable type of wedding - 3 nights of fun, instead of squeezing all of that goodness into one day.
